Q-Bot is a high tech, high growth, international start-up, developing robotics and intelligent systems that are revolutionising the built environment whilst creating a positive social impact (you’ll find more detail below).

Over the last couple of years Q-Bot has grown considerably doubling revenues each year, this has also meant the company’s client base has expanded significantly. While this has already been an exciting journey for the business, it has meant we now need to rapidly grow the company’s Partner network. 

Therefore, Q-Bot is looking for a highly motivated Business Development professional with the following capabilities:

  • Must have previous sales experience ideally of signing up Partners and selling through Partners.

  • Sold into construction, to contractors or similar.

  • Capacity to learn and be effective quickly

  • A fantastic phone/Zoom presence – comfortable doing business digitally.

  • Be mathematically sound and be fluent in English.


It would be great if that person also has:

  • Great presentation skills.

  • An interest in sustainability measures.

  • Speaks one or more European languages.

  • An appreciation for automation and AI.

  • Experience of working within the construction industry.

The main deliverables of the role for the are:

  • Achieve Partner acquisition targets on a quarterly and annualised basis

  • Building and extending relationships with a core Partner base

  • Generating revenue by converting these relationships into multi-year agreements

  • Being a proactive and positive member of the team, sharing learnings and ideas of how to be better


  • Constantly “wear” a positive attitude, setting an example for the rest of Q-Bot’s team.

  • Able to work hard and work smart. Allow colleagues and other team members to understand what it takes to deliver extraordinary partner growth.

  • Relishes the fast pace of a resource constrained start-up.

  • Is organised. Ensures CRM system, Outlook email and calendar are used/ integrated each day to track Partner leads and sales activities.

  • Confident and capable. Attends monthly team meetings, shows Partner acquisition performance, forecasts and commitments, and delivers on them.
