Do I pay VAT on underfloor insulation?

No. Installing underfloor insulation in your home is zero-rated for VAT, so there is no VAT on the installation. VAT applies only to the survey, and if you proceed with installation we credit that survey VAT, plus £25 (Premium) or £65 (Premium PLUS), against your final invoice.

How long does installation take, and how disruptive is it?

Most installations are completed in one to two days. Because our installers apply the insulation from below, we only lift a few floorboards to access the space below your floor.
