Step 1
Home eligibility survey
A Q-Bot surveyor visits your home to check your floors, ventilation, and access. They may lift a board or make a small hatch to inspect the floor void and take moisture readings. All data goes into our secure system, and within 24 hours, you’ll receive a clear report showing if your home is suitable, what the next steps are, and a quote if appropriate. We can only insulate homes that meet Q-Bot’s underfloor insulation suitability criteria.
Step 2
Quick and hassle-free installation
Our installers make small, discreet openings to the floor (often inside cupboards or under furniture). Then, we spray an accredited closed-cell insulation to the underside of your floorboards. The insulation expands and fits the shape of the floor, ensuring no gaps are left. The insulation forms a layer under your floorboards, allowing for a ventilation gap between the insulation and the ground beneath to protect from damp and mould.
Step 3
Quality check
We finish with compliance and quality checks to ensure everything meets our strict standards. You’ll then receive a Declaration of Conformity and a full completion pack for your records.
