Q-Bot is now CHAS accredited and meets all UK Health and Safety requirements

2 September 2019

Q-Bot has recently been accredited by CHAS, a health and safety accreditation scheme for the construction industry.  It often acts as a type of pre-qualification during the public procurement process and helps both buyers and suppliers in the assessment of health and safety competence.  This third-party assessment and accreditation demonstrates Q-Bot’s compliance to a nationally agreed standard of health and safety and confirms the company’s dedication to quality and safety in the workplace. By joining the Construction Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) Q-Bot has committed to annual assessments to prove continued high levels of health and safety as per the CDM regulations 2005. This will make it more straight forward for Q-Bot’s customers to choose the company as their contractor.

Mareike Schmidt, Head of Energy said: “I am really pleased that we are now CHAS accredited. It shows our clients that we are compliant with the highest standards of safety. It gives them peace of mind that when it comes to the various health and safety laws they are in the right hands. It will also allow us to join forces with other companies that operate under the same accreditation to win larger contracts.
